People, including executives, have been writing this forever – when it seems obvious, they ought not.
Do not write: Please contact my office.
Write instead: Please contact me, or please contact my assistant at (name & number).
Here’s why: An office, and content, is inanimate so clearly cannot be ‘contacted.’
